How do I bid on auction items online?

How do I participate in the auction and the livestream event?
We recommend you tune in with two devices (computer/tablet and mobile phone) or open two tabs on your computer. This will allow you to watch the livestream and use the mobile bidding platform during the event. Both the online auction (May 8 at 12:00 pm – May 15 at 8:30 pm) and the livestream broadcast on May 15 at 7:30 pm can be accessed at https://familybuildingblocks.org/uncorkedlive. How do I enter the costume contest?
In order to be eligible to win a prize, you must post a photo as your favorite character on Instagram with #uncorkedliveauction or Facebook tagging @familybuildingblockssalem. Participants enter to win a YETI cooler with high-end goodies, Rose Apothecary gift bags, and more. First, second, and third place winners will be announced before the conclusion of the livestream event during the broadcast and on social media. Prizes will be available for pick up at Family Building Blocks the following week.
What will the program be like during the livestream event?
The livestream event will be a fun and engaging celebration of our community and its impact on “Keeping Children Safe and Families Together.” Viewers will have the opportunity to support Family Building Blocks during this critical time by bidding and giving during the online auction. Emcee Jim Clair and auctioneer Johnna Wells will keep things exciting as we move through the auction, thanking our sponsors and sharing powerful messages of our impact. The online auction will open on Saturday, May 8 at 12:00 pm so bidders will have the opportunity to bid on their favorite packages before the auction closes on Saturday, May 15 at 8:30 pm.
Can I make a donation instead of bidding on auction items?
Yes! Supporters can donate during the online auction by clicking “Donate Now” or safely and securely through Family Building Blocks’ website at https://familybuildingblocks.org/donate/.
How do I enter the Golden Ticket raffle?
To enter the raffle, follow the directions in the first question above and buy a Golden Ticket. The lucky winner gets to choose either a three-night stay at The Lodge at Jackson Hole, Wyoming (Value $2,750) or a five-night stay in a Signature Casita Suite in the Riviera Maya, Mexico (Value $3,900). Tickets are $100 each and only 200 will be sold. Tickets go on sale May 8 at 12:00 pm. A receipt with your ticket number will be emailed to you after purchase. Drawing to take place on May 15 during our livestream event starting at 7:30 pm. Winner to be notified by phone and email after drawing takes place. Must be 18 years or older to enter. Oregon Department of Justice requires a raffle ticket purchaser must be physically located in Oregon at the time of purchase (you do not have to be an Oregon resident). Need not be present to win. Taxes on all items are the sole responsibility of the winner.
If I win an auction package, how and when do I receive it?
If you win an auction package, we will designate an auction pick-up day at Family Building Blocks at a future date. For auction winners who reside in the Salem area where a pick-up may not be advisable, please reach out to event coordinator, Esmeralda Chan Tuyub, at echantuyub@familybuildingblocks.org to arrange delivery.
